Questions which will be investigated are the following: "What are the benefits of collaborative shopper targeting in contrast to the non collaborative one? What are the gains of the creation of differentiated solutions via collaboration among retailers and suppliers? To what level collaboration can improve new product introduction, store promotions and store assortment?" After exploring the benefits of the collaborative practices, the needed organizational prerequisites/critical success factors for a fruitful collaborative marketing and demand management will be studied further. The main question which will be researched is the following: "What are the needed management processes, business strategies, people's roles and characteristics to support an efficient implementation of the collaborative demand management?"
