Απολογισμός E-Volution Awards 2012 Recognizing best practices in digital business Issue No. 67 (March - August 2011)
 Πρόσφατα πραγματοποιήθηκε η τελετη απονομής του πρώτου διαγωνισμού e-volution awards 2012 μέσα σε εορταστικό κλίμα, παρουσία συσσωμης της αγοράς. Τις απονομές των βραβείων έκαναν υψηλόβαθμα στελέχη της αγοράς, Πρόεδροι φορεων και Ινστιτουτων και εκπρόσωποι της πολιτείας. Τα e-volution awards αποτελούν τον μοναδικό και σημαντικότερο διαγωνισμό με στόχο την ανάδειξη και επιβράβευση των βέλτιστων πρακτικών στο χωρο του ηλεκτρονικού επιχειρείν.

Publication list Short CV Prof. Georgios I. Doukidis has a B.Sc. in Mathematics, University of Thessaloniki (1980), an M.Sc. in Operational Research, London School of Economics (1981), and a Ph.D. in Simulation/Artificial Intelligence, London School of Economics - LSE (1985). In the period 1981-1991 he worked at LSE as Teaching Assistant in Operational Research, Lecturer in Computing and Academic Visitor in Information Systems. Currently he is Professor in Information Systems in the Department of Management Science and Technology at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). He was Visiting Professor at Brunel University and taught at London Business School and Copenhagen Business School. He teaches and reseraches in the areas of Management and Strategy of Information Systems, Electronic Commerce and Simulation / Decision Support Systems. He has published 14 books and more than 200 papers and has acted as guest editor for the Journal of Operational Research Society, the Journal of Information Technology, and the International Journal of Electronic Commerce. He has acted as Chairman in the following International Conferences: European Conference in Information Systems (1995), International Electronic Commerce Conference (1998), International Conference of the Decision Sciences Institute (1999), International Conference on Mobile Business (2002). His latest book: "Consumer Driven Electronic Transformation: Applying New Tchnologies to Enthuse Consumers", was published by Springer-Verlag in December 2004.
