Απολογισμός E-Volution Awards 2012 Recognizing best practices in digital business Issue No. 67 (March - August 2011)
Πρόσφατα πραγματοποιήθηκε η τελετη απονομής του πρώτου διαγωνισμού e-volution awards 2012 μέσα σε εορταστικό κλίμα, παρουσία συσσωμης της αγοράς. Τις απονομές των βραβείων έκαναν υψηλόβαθμα στελέχη της αγοράς, Πρόεδροι φορεων και Ινστιτουτων και εκπρόσωποι της πολιτείας. Τα e-volution awards αποτελούν τον μοναδικό και σημαντικότερο διαγωνισμό με στόχο την ανάδειξη και επιβράβευση των βέλτιστων πρακτικών στο χωρο του ηλεκτρονικού επιχειρείν.

He has worked as a Visiting Lecturer in the University of Central Greece and as a Teaching Fellow in the Business College of Athens (BCA). He holds a BSc in Industrial Management and Technology from the University of Piraeus and an MSc in Operational Research from the University of Edinburgh and a PhD from Athens University of Economics and Business. His doctoral thesis investigates consumer acceptance of technology-based services in retailing based on a service science approach.
His research has received strong recognition in the form of best paper awards and funding from research councils, government organizations and large multinational companies. His research has been presented in several academic conferences and practitioner workshops and it has been published in leading academic journals such as Industrial Marketing Management, European Journal of Marketing and European Journal of Information Systems.
Research InterestsHis main research interests lie in the area of service marketing research and technology adoption. Mainly, he is studying technology adoption in consumer services contexts. He is approaching self-service technologies and technology-based services according to the Service Science Management and Engineering (SSME) initiative. Moreover, he is interested in consumer responses to innovative retail services such as dynamic promotions or expiration-date based pricing. He is also investigating consumer behavior in retailing regarding issues of emotional attachment with retail brands and corporate social responsibility. He uses analytical tools such as variance and covariance-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and survey and experimental design as research methodologies. Personal Website
