Απολογισμός E-Volution Awards 2012 Recognizing best practices in digital business Issue No. 67 (March - August 2011)
Πρόσφατα πραγματοποιήθηκε η τελετη απονομής του πρώτου διαγωνισμού e-volution awards 2012 μέσα σε εορταστικό κλίμα, παρουσία συσσωμης της αγοράς. Τις απονομές των βραβείων έκαναν υψηλόβαθμα στελέχη της αγοράς, Πρόεδροι φορεων και Ινστιτουτων και εκπρόσωποι της πολιτείας. Τα e-volution awards αποτελούν τον μοναδικό και σημαντικότερο διαγωνισμό με στόχο την ανάδειξη και επιβράβευση των βέλτιστων πρακτικών στο χωρο του ηλεκτρονικού επιχειρείν.

He has obtained a diploma in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and a M.Sc. and a Ph.D in Operational Research from the London School of Economics (LSE). He has served twice as Vice Rector of the Athens University of Economics and Business and also as Director of the Department of Informatics. His publications have appeared in Applied Mathematics and Operational Research Journals such as Mathematical Programming, Annals of Discrete Mathematics, European Journal of Operational Research, Journal of the Operational Research Society and are cited in various international journals and textbooks. He has been a member of the Editorial Board of the European Journal of Information Systems and also has worked for the Centre of Transnational Corporations (United Nations). His research interests include sequencing and scheduling problems, supply chain management, efficiency measurement, energy and telecommunication pricing and modelling of electronic business activities.
